Croissant Express Café - Toronto, Ontario

Visited it once. It was not crowded at all. I liked the chocolate croissant... The latte was "ok". The service was ok.

Nice atmosphere, good coffee, good service, BUT... I had a simple breakfast sandwich which consisted of HALF a piece of burnt sausage, HALF a slice of cheese, I'm assuming a whole egg but can't be sure fried in burnt butter (or oil maybe?) - quite the mystery with a burnt ... after taste. A very comfy and affordable place right off of King Station, this is quickly becoming my go-to breakfast spot. Most meals are around $10, and there's a wide selection of pastries to choose from as well. Internet is acceptable and is accessed by requesting the password from the clerk. A wide selection of drip coffees and decent espresso coffees. Honestly, I kind of really like the croissant tree. I've been going here off and on for the better part of two years and the service is always nice and friendly. The coffee selection is unique and definitely tastes different. I have not been here for lunch, but I assume ... it would be a similar experience. Read more
