Coffee Public - Toronto, Ontario

I'm bummed to have to give this place a bad review! I've been loving Coffee Public for years, and every single person who works here is a total delight! But this place has stopped serving snacks (those pumpkin muffins were the best!), there's no more oat milk, and the loyalty ... programme has been discontinued suddenly + without any advance notice. There are so many other decent-to-great coffee shops around that I really can't see myself continuing to go to a place that doesn't also have snacks and clearly doesn't care about customer loyalty!! Large Americano is the size of a pint :D it is very tasty as well as the chocolate chip cookie. I also liked the chilled atmosphere.

We love this place because we can get their amazing muffins on a rushed morning on the way to work OR on a relaxing weekend morning in Port Hope! Great staff, drinks and food at both locations 😊☕

The London Fog latte and coffee latte were good. The breakfast sandwhich (fried egg with sauces in a brioche bun) was okay but pricey - 2 lattes and 2 breakfast sandwiches were over $25! Cookies and muffins are baked on site. They have a gaming shelf in the back. We ... wanted to people watch and tried to sit on the bar stools by the window but they feel too low for the bar table so we chose to sit at a regular table. Read more
