I’ve eaten here a few times now and find the staff friendly, the food tasty and the prices unbeatable for a meal downtown. I’ve only eaten lunch here but heard great things about breakfast!

I always ♥ coming to this establishment when I am in the DT core. They have been consistently serving Chef prepared meals for a couple of decades now. You can watch if inclined to do so. The food is excellent you can see the perfection of the baking etc the moment you walk ... in the door. Coffee is also top notch. Prices are incrediably reasonable considering the location and the pleasant upbeat decor with plenty of options regarding seating. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. I will be back again and again when in the area. I would suggest to anyone else go and visit this Gem of a restaurant. Read more

I am so happy to see that the Cafe on the Square reopened after the pandemic - I really missed it. Very affordable and tasty food! and you will eat in company of civil servants ;) attentive and fast staff, many choices. The place is a bit hidden and probably ... not known to that many people besides those who work in the building - which is a pity. the interior is really beautiful, furniture with pleasant warm tones and kind of retro vibes. in the east side of the restaurant you can pick up free internet from the library. not licensed - but it offers a huge variety of soft drinks, juices and of course coffee. Excellent location, really great staff and a diverse menu of well made food. The hot meal options change daily and are delicious. There are also great sandwiches and other food as well as a salad bar that one can eat in or take to go. Prices are really reasonable.
