Big Smoke Burger - Toronto, Ontario

First time customer. Ordered a double smoke stack combo. The burger was good. Fries were average. But the price didn't quite match what I was expecting. The price for the combo on the menu was 21.50. When it was added to their machine, it became $23.65 before tax plus a $1.54 ... for a drink. I'd made a payment without realizing it and then I saw the receipt. When I first asked her to explain the numbers, she wasn't quite able to explain. Then, the manager came and said the menu on the store is outdated and explained $1.54 was for an upgrade from a fountain to a bottled one, which I didn't ask for nor the girl didn't ask me if I wanted to. I was very disappointed that the manager wasn't showing any expression of apology. Overall, average quality of food and bad customer experience. Not worth $28.46 for a burger combo. Read more

One of the best in the city! Their poutine gravy is the best in the city in my opinion, and their onion rings are bafflingly crispy! Ordered the Smokey Cheddar Burger combo and a side of Poutine. It was my first time trying Poutine so I can’t compare it to anything but it was really good. If you don’t like gravy and cheese, you may not like poutine in general. The burger and regular fries were ... so delicious! Had the orange pop in the bottle and the moosehead beer, both were enjoyable. The inside isn’t very large so if you’re more than a 4 person group just know there’s limited seating. Read more

I visited this place recently and had their Poutine regular size and it was good especially for the price the quantity was more than I expected. Also the staff was courteous and friendly to give their suggestion. If I’m in that area again and want to eat poutine I would ... definitely give them a try. Had the bacon cheddar signature combo but replaced the beef patty with chicken. Had a nice taste to it. It has a pickle so be warned. The fries was good as well. Wasn't overcooked and had nice texture. Will try other signature burgers next time.
