The Ellery - Toronto, Ontario

The Ellery is a local gem on the Danforth eastend. I'm a regular getting a daily bowl or sandwich. It is a small but mighty venue with lovely atmosphere because of space is filled with plants. Their food is super fresh and delicious with local Ontario ingredients. I found out ... about them after I was a party guest where they catered. The group was very happy with the beautiful spread of dips, salads, and finger food. They made everyone happy, including vegetarians and vegans. Sometimes you need that satisfying bite of all the yum, packed conveniently between three slices of delicious multigrain bread. The tomatoes were juicy and provided freshness along with the lettuce. The chicken was cooked nicely and the wasabi mayo rounded out the entire sandwich perfectly.

Super tasty food and amazing service! The mushroom spinach lasagna is a family-favourite. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are, and lots of their menu is vegetarian friendly. Highly recommend to anyone!

The $35 prix fixe menu came with quality food and substantial portions. The beet salad with pistachio pesto dressing was out of this world! Very interesting and delightful combo. Definitely one of my favourite salads. Their burger was also very juicy and delicious. Followed by a sweet ending ... of cheesecake and chocolate mousse dessert made this a truly satisfying dinner.
