The best place to get pork chops in the city. Been going to this place for decades and always have the chops. Thick cut and cooked perfectly throughout. Every time I go I tell myself to order something different but always break down and get the usual.
Service and food were both very good. I went there for brunch and ordered steak & egg, and eggs & sausage with 2 cups of coffee for two people. I ordered the steak medium rare and was done just right and quite tender. Portion was more than ... decent and kept me feeling full until late afternoon. Read more
An unfancy, simple steakhouse that knows how to cook a perfect steak. I'm not here for the decor, I'm here for a great tasting delicious steak. I've been 3 times and each visit has delivered amazingly consistent quality and taste. Took a large party and everyone who ordered the steak ... was blown away by the incredible taste. I would caution however, that for groups they do not offer split billing, although they do take cash, debit and credit. I'll be going back again. Read more
Always a great meal! Large portions. Reasonable prices. Quick service. Clean washrooms. Wish there was a restaurant like this in Etobicoke.

This place is a true hole-in-the-wall that has seen better days. What's important though is that they still serve up comfort food at reasonable prices. I went for the Thursday nite dinner special again - the breaded pork chops. Two chops with two scoops of mashed potatoes and everything slathered with ... meat gravy. OMG it's so good!! It's very filling so I get dessert to go - a big slice of their chocolate cake (which I'm told they make daily.) I ended up pairing it with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream when I got home - yum! I'm gonna guess that his place isn't for everyone with its outdated decor and all. Some might find it a little "low-brow." Read more
