The food is great! The place is clean and the staff and Steve are over the top friendly and welcoming. We tried the banquet burgers with fries. The meal came with a large portion of fries. Steve even offered ice cream at the end! Great service.

The food was delicious and felt like a classic breakfast. The service was amazing and the food came out really fast. $40 was enough to feed my fiancé and I for lunch, which is super rare in Toronto! (We ordered 2 breakfasts + fruit + 2 drinks) The owner was also ... very nice, we saw him checking in on his staff, asking if they were doing okay and if they needed anything. After a wedding ceremony, we had a group of 17 hungry celebrants descend on Egglinton Grill... the owner and staff immediately worked to get seating for us all. Diners already seated, gave up their seats so that we could be together. This day of love, was further enhanced by the loving atmosphere ... we walked into. We found this gem by doing a quick Google search and we were not disappointed. There's a little shop as you enter but in the back is where you're seated. Video and variety store turned brunch destination! We went for brunch on Christmas Day and got a booth for 4 immediately. The server was friendly and cheerful, and everyone wore Christmas-themed hats! We had the $10.99 big grill breakfast, $13.99 steak and eggs, and $10.99 spinach and feta omelette. The food ... was decent all-around with nothing really standing out. The bacon was pleasantly crispy and not to the point of being crunchy, and was a bit on the greasier side but tasted good. The ham had a pleasant amount of saltiness. The sausages were cooked well with a crispy surface. The eggs were pretty typical. The home fries weren't bad, but I prefer smaller chunks and more seasoning. I was told the steaks were well cooked and had a nice texture and taste. The main selling point of this brunch spot is that it has incredible value and great people. If you want a no-frills brunch at an exceptionally low price, look no further.
