Ten Ren’s Tea - Toronto, Ontario

Ordered in this place for 4 times, 3 of them is wrong. This time ordered hot black sugar bubble milk, tastes like neither milk nor tea. Just brown water.

Ordered the shaved ice and got the most humongous dish of it. We had 2 people and we couldn't finish the thing. It came with 3 free toppings and we got red bean, vanilla ice cream and boba, all of which were nicely made. It's not the most delicious bingsu ... I've ever had but for the size and the price, it was worth it. Got our laptop and worked there too but it's not a work cafe more like a casual dining spot, but we were happy anyway because the server was soo nice and friendly. He checked on us several times, and gave us extra condensed milk on the side to have with the bingsu. Read more

Never again. The slowest service I’ve ever gotten from a bubble tea shop and there wasn’t even a line up. On top of that, the barista got my order wrong. He offered to make it if I pay the difference. What a joke. He’d probably take his sweet time again. I ... left disappointed. Read more

I ordered a Large Iced Green Tea with Honey and it tastes like sugared water. I couldn’t taste any trace of tea at all. TenRen has a good reputation in Hong Kong and Taiwan for their high quality tea, very disappointed by the lack of tea flavour in the drink. ... I love Ten Ren's Tea. Their foods are deliciously infused with teas and their teas are amazing. Their prices are good for the portions. The staff at Empress and Yonge are so cheerful and nice. I love how they make my Logon Ginger tea mmmm yummy 😋😋 If you ... haven't tried their food, you're missing out. Thy have chicken, beef, pork, tofu, egg, fish and veggie dishes. Every dish I tried so far, made my taste buds sing. If you are a #foodie like me, you will love this little gem hidden on the southeast corner of Empress and Yonge street.
