The chicken and rib combo was really good. The thigh and leg was juicy and the ribs well cooked. The chicken quesadilla was very good too. Just the chicken breast was a little bit over cooked and not juicy. On the beverages, the Shirley Temple had no taste, just ... sparkling water with color. Probably is like that, but having seven up and cranberry juice I thought it should have a sweeter taste. Service was really good and both guys were super attentive. Disappointing. Swiss Chalet used to be a regular night out or delivery option. Since they have closed the downtown locations and their delivery in my area seems to have been taken over by a ghost kitchen with very low standards, it has been perhaps 2 years since I last had ... their food. So seeing them down by the waterfront was a pleasant surprise. First the good... excellent service from the waitress and the food came out very promptly. That is the end of the good things... $30+ for a very small portion of ribs and a dry chicken breast is not my idea of value. The ribs, chicken and fries were all overcooked, dry and somehow also cold. The only saving grace was the hot dipping sauce. There were lots of fries but they were not good. The meat was largely tasteless without the sauces. The waitress was great. Cheerful, quick and accurate but also running around the restaurant as she seemed to be the only one working. Disappointing... Swiss Chalet was once a favourite but I don't think I'll be back. Read more

Elise, our server was amazing! Super friendly and assisting the entire restaurant by herself on a Saturday night while providing good service is no easy feat. We will definitely be coming back again.

Such a great restaurant. The food is super good, especially their special chicken. Service is super. I enjoyed my time here. The food came out very quickly and I enjoyed it. However the atmosphere is not pleasant
