We been buying bbq meats from Tong Ha for many years now and finally I’m ready to provide some comments about them. I’ve tried many many bbq places through the years some I’ve written about some not mentioned. Most times Tong Ha is pretty busy throughout the day. Their rice combos ... have a decent price point for what you get and how it tastes. (I’ve had rice that was a bit softer than standard, once) Of the meats I’ve had often is the crispy roast pork ribs (priced higher than just the roast pork), bbq duck and their Royal chicken. When getting their chicken make sure you get the ginger & green onion sauce, delicious when combined with the chicken. The other bbq meats I have not tried as much, but the 3 meats I buy often is excellent. The taste profile is bang on! I certainly would recommend their bbq meats without hesitation. Read more

Used to be one of the better and favor BBQ places in Scarborough, as their BBQ Duck is most popular. Unfortunately, as of today, we lined up for two lunch boxes, it took at least 35 minutes. Always and there're always, in this 棠下燒臘place, having few of their loyalty customers jumped ... in. Of course, they're no need to line up, even though there has already been a lineup with more than 15 people. Sad to say, not worth waiting. If you came here just for a bite for a BBQ duck and Chrispy roasted pork, you will definitely be disappointed. A BBQ duck is tasty, but just average good. The roast duck is delicious here, and the meat portions are generous for the price (which has gone up a little bit recently). We usually get the 2 item combo with rice noodle soup, and the broth absorbs the juices of the meat making it taste that much better. The ... additional cup of broth is a nice palette cleanser for the end of the meal. Read more
