This might be our favourite spot in Etobicoke, lovely atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly people. We come here every Saturday after soccer. Highly recommend checking this gem out
Cute local bakery with a pleasant atmosphere and ambiance. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich for the first time here and was unfortunately disappointed. For $10 (including a small tip) the portion was lackluster, especially with the bread being so thick in comparison to the toppings inside. They also did ... not include the arugula. I do want to try their baked goods sometime, but I am certainly not ordering this item again. Read more
Quaint & cosy bakery in Etobicoke with really good bread. They have been inoperation since 2006 so it says a lot about their quality. Most of the breads here are simple but really delicious. Highly recommended the potato bagel which has a flaky crust and a warm potato filling. You ... can also buy frozen pizza dough here. Read more
Definitely my favourite bakery/ cafe in the area. Their famous Tatsu Burger lives up to its signature title, which is a mixed pork & beef burger. They changed the buns but still very tasty and the patty is to die for. I'm not a fan of saucy burger so normally like ... the steak sauce to be less than their standard but other than that, this burger is my go to when craving carb but still want to be healthy haha Their sweets are perfect to my liking. Definitely go for fruit tart, blueberry cheesecake tart or earl grey roll cake if you don't like the 'super sweet' desserts like in many other cafe. Their homemade mango smoothie is such a bomb, other flavour is good too but mango is my favourite, doesn't have that sweetener taste elsewhere. This bakery/ cafe always make me nostalgic to the time I was back in the UK. They have such an English afternoon tea vibe if you know what I meant. The music selection is very jazzy, sometimes with folk music for sure give you a good break. Read more
I got a loaf of long fermentation spelt sourdough and it was amazing! The crust was soft, with a tight crumb and was satisfyingly chewy! I can only eat real sourdough due to wheat sensitivities and this one didn't cause any problems! Definitely recommend!
