Great old school place. Cash only but the dominos across the street let me do cash back at no charge. Came for the cinnamon buns but left w a pie and cookies to boot (didn’t charge for the cookies, which was very nice of them).
Soon as you enter you're greeted by the fabulous owners, with lots of pastries to choose from. My favs are the cinnamon buns along with the delicious pot pies at $5. The best deal in the city may be in the country.
this place is a reminder of what toronto and its outskirts used to look like. the owner is incredibly lovely and welcoming, they’re cash only. the prices are incredibly reasonable. this is a traditional bakery, with lots of classic baked goods. i wasn’t particularly taken away by any of the items i ... purchased which were: apple pie butter tarts cinnamon roll the butter tarts had a good flavour but a strange aftertaste (not my liking). the apple pie is good, but on the sweeter side. and the cinnamon roll was a little dry. Supporting our local business during this pandemic is the best way to go. Found this cute little bakery in the junction. The lady at the counter was very friendly and inviting. They had a great selection of pastries (pies, scones, danishes), cookies, cakes and their famous cinnabons. Easter is just a ... few days away so they had cross buns which was also nice. The ladies at Sweet Trolley Bakery are absolutely fabulous! They greet everyone with high energy and big smiles. They were voted the best cinnamon buns in Toronto and they definitely live up to the hype! They are hand made, covered in icing and taste great heated up. The first ... time we popped in for a cinnamon bun, we did not have any cash on us. That did not stop Sweet Trolley Bakery from serving us! They gave us a cinnamon bun to go with the promise we would be back again. Today, we returned with cash in hand for more cinnamon buns, strawberry-rhubarb pie and cannolis and were greeted with even more energy and cheers for the Edmonton Oiler win!
