Great Pies. Some of the best Butter 🧈 Tarts and pies 🥧 I’ve had. Grabbed these at the Balls Falls Fall Festival and will definitely be back for more. Excited that they are in Toronto too.

I bought a peach pie today from the East York farmer's market this morning. After supper, I sat down with a cup of coffee and cut into the pie. The top crust was extremely thick, the filling was only about 3/8" thick and the bottom crust was thicker than the ... top crust. I was looking forward to a peach pie so I took a bite and did not swallow the piece of pie. The filling had no taste. Must be canned filling. The crust was not flaky and tasted stale. I have eaten my share of pies in my 70 years and this one ranks in the top 3. I called the store and the answering machine came on and said the memory was full. I wonder if other buyers had the same issues as I did. Scanning the pie PiCs on this site shows a completely different pie than the one I bought. Bought a strawberry and rhubarb pie at the east York civic center on Tuesday at farmers market. It was the worst tasting pie I ever had. It’s has no flavor, dry filling and pastry has know flavor and is not flaky at all. 12 dollars for nothing. I bought several of the tarts and pies from Row Farms for friends during Christmas, in the past I've loved the tarts and pies and have always bought. Bought during Christmas 2020 when I saw mould on the apple crumble tarts I was so scared what my friends experience ... had been. I only saw this because my husband and daughter wanted to share and I had to cut it in half with a knife, otherwise we usually just bite into it. So I wasted about $40 on Pie's and tarts not known if they were all in that state or what. I was disappointed and didn't go back to Row Farms since. Read more
