I think they are ripping off non-Portuguese customers or maybe they're ripping off everyone, who knows! I paid $27 for 6 custard tarts and 2 codfish patties - I could have gotten more from Loblaws for once. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, and went back and ... paid $12 for a custard tart and a shrimp patty. I don't understand their pricing, service is awful and everytime I ask how much certain things are, the answer is always changing. I ask for a receipt each time but they cannot provide an itemized receipt, just one for the total purchase. Read more

Pastel de Nata/Belém (puff pastry with cream filling) is amazing. Very fresh and delicious! I ordered an expresso ($2.62) and it’s also perfect. We saw that everyone was having a grilled ham+cheese sandwich ($8.20) and we ordered one too — it’s very lean and toasty like, it’s alright, I would ... not order again. They have Salgados/Rissóis/Fried Patties ($3.50) and although visually they don’t seem appealing, it was very delicious! Don’t be fooled by the name of this place - it is anything but a Paris Boulangerie - you will ask for a butter croissant and receive a bread roll. I thought it looked strange and I confirmed is this a butter croissant they said yes and I been into ... it and it was literally sweet bread and then they told me oh it’s a Portuguese croissant…. 8am on a summer sunday: the best warm fluffy delicious sugary donut, paired with an iced coffee! what a treat, can’t wait to head back again. they also have the best mafra bread!! we come here each time we want fresh bread for our sandwiches. 🤤 also, great service!

The name threw me off but the products inside were good. I thought it was a French style Bakery so I was looking for croissants or eclair's but the cashier informed me that they're famous for their Portuguese nates (tarts) they were very very good I got the original and ... the Nutella very crunchy not too sweet.
