We were guests across the street and found this gem. This is a first to explore traditional Hong Kong buns and pastries. What a great experience, from the delicious pastries to the atmosphere, simply wonderful. During our stay, this became our morning ritual.

The food was actually okay. Scrambled egg sandwich was soft and fluffy. Macaroni broth was rich. The cold drink was a decent size and tasted good. After the meal I wanted to buy some buns. I love this place, usually my go-to for yummy bunds and milk tea. The other day, I ordered from the lunch menu for lunch chicken, mushroom rice, and pork rice. I ordered 3 breakfast take out (scramble egg and toast with chicken & broccoli salad) with 3 milk tea. They just give me plastic bag to carry those 3 cups of HOT milk tea because they don't have any tray??!!!! So ridiculous!!!! All milk tea spill out when I got ... home!! The portion of scramble egg is so much smaller than what they showed on YouTube and the texture is not very fluffy. However, the flavor of the salad is not too bad and is quite creamy. I’ve long been a fan of Lucullus Bakers’ HK milk buns. I tried the corned beef bun this time at their Markham location. It was decently loaded as I’ve come to expect at Lucullus. The interior is quite well-decorated in the European fashion and packed for a weekend afternoon. Bun selection ... was a little less than I would have expected at a storefront, likely due to its popularity. The roasted coffee could have tasted better but perhaps I’ll try their cappuccino next time. Nonetheless this seems like a nice spot to chill. Read more
