Love love this store!! All the treats I grew up like fern tarts, empire biscuits and butter tarts. Wonderful service and delicious treats!

We love this local bakery on Pape. Cozy, friendly service, and feels like it's from another time period. Much like a bakery you'd find in a small town. Great fresh breads and delicious pastries. We regularly get the danishes and challah and they are always fresh and tasty. We recently ordered a ... vanilla buttercream cake from them and it was wonderful. Moist, really nice cake crumb, great buttercream in good proportions, and vanilla flavour that was not overly sweet. Cupcakes were also really nice. I hear good things about their carrot cake so looking forward to trying it in the future. I only wish they offered cakes in different sizes and flavour combinations but I guess when you have the right recipe you don't mess with it. UPDATE: their carrot cake is AMAZING. Love these vanilla custard buns (not sure if it's the real name)!! The light, round puff is filled solid with a delicious custard. Always brings back great memories of my first job which was where I was introduced to these buns. A social worker colleague would bring them regularly for ... our Friday treats. Adorable party shop with tasty goodies that are perfectly presented. We had the chocolate balls that tasted like maraschino cherries/amaretto. They were rich and delicious. Even my boyfriend loved them and he doesn't generally love sweets. Looked super clean!
