We ordered some macaroons, a Portuguese custard tart and a blueberry French éclair. All these were so delicious and just right. Not too sweet. The custard tart pastry was a little crispy and not the usual, but I found it surprisingly good. We also got a Hazelnut Portuguese custard donut, ... but that was a bit dry. There was so much more to try, so you make the choice. Read more
I guess I made the mistake of buying pastry goods in the basement versus on the top. I ordered Portuguese tarts, butter tarts, and pecan butter tarts. When I got back to my Airbnb, the tarts tasted kind of stale and not fresh. The Portuguese tarts I have tried many ... times, so this was the first one I was disappointed in. The pecan butter tart was just okay. Butter tart if you find a microwave, it’ll taste a lot better. Service was good and the owner was nice. Prices I could not tell if it was expensive or not since I was from out of town. Read more
During our visit to St Lawrence Market, we sampled some cakes from Eve's Temptations. We chose the Cranberry Orange Bundt Sponge cake and a Custard Tart. The Bundt cake was light and fluffy with a zesty orange flavour. The custard tart was gooey with thin crispy pastry.
The macarons were good, and the chocolate pecan pie was excellent! The two ladies working were very friendly. Unfortunately, the butter croissant tasted old and stale. Ended up throwing it out.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon to grab some Portuguese tarts. They have a wide selection of cakes and treats. I got 6 for $10 and thought they were better than the ones at Paddington's in the market. Would come back to try their other treats.
