Although I no longer live near this bakery, I always make a point to pop in whenever I’m nearby. Dough has been a favourite of mine for many years now, and consistently deliver great quality food whether it’s savoury dinner options, or their assortment of breads and baked goods. My ... guilty pleasure is the peanut butter confetti squares, a little piece of nostalgia for me that brings me back to childhood at a school bake sale. I pre-ordered a classic carrot cake for Mother’s Day and was so happy with how it turned out! The delicate and tasteful decoration of the cake added a beautiful touch to an amazing flavour! This is by far my favourite bakery ever! They are consistently fabulous, and that is quite the feat . I always order a lemon meringue pie for my father on Father’s Day and his birthday. The first time he tried the pie from dough bakery, he literally started to ... cry while eating because it reminded him of the pie his mother used to make. Food like music, brings us back to a place in our lives and stirs up memories. To me this is everything! Now let’s talk about the coffee, the breakfast sandwiches, the prepared meals, the bread, the croissants, and mini pies if you’re not committed to a large one. I'm not sure what I did in a previous life to deserve this family run bakery. Everything they do is simply divine. Walk in and it's a delight for the senses; you can smell the quality, real butter. Bread, pastries that made me swoon, made to order cakes, prepared food ... items, holiday themed cookies: everything I've purchased has been a ten out of ten. Thank you, Dough!
