COBS Bread - Toronto, Ontario

They advertise that the store closes 8pm. On July 02. I came at 7:56 pm to make a purchase and 4 Vultures with bags were clearing the shelves like there was no tomorrow. One of them who was not an employee there told me that the store is closed ... and when I complained the young lady from inside the counter told me that the system is down. They just lost a profitabile sale. I don't think that the owner is aware they close earlier than posted. Read more

I’ve gotten bread here for some time. For a while the bread was decent. But the service and the employees are absolutely cringe. Not only do they have no civility like answering basic questions like how are you but they are mostly wearing masks (loaded with toxic ... ethylene oxide) and don’t even treat you like a human. As if that was bad enough I got incredibly sick from my last batch of sourdough buns so either someone is poisoning the ingredients or they changed something. Never will I return to this place. The vegan wild Blueberry & Custard Teatime is just delicious! Plus, a lot of the bread here is vegan friendly. You can ask for the nutritional information sheet for all the items. (I loved it). It's our main bakery now. ❤️✨

Liked the bread and the varieties they have at this place. We joined the cobs club rewards and got 6 free gourmet buns. Their other breads are pretty great too. I liked the sourdough. Quick service and the place smells like fresh bread which is nice. I will come back ... again for some bread and like it that they have other locations. Read more
