Excellent selection of meats and Polish dry goods. Baked goods are good including their paczcki and poppyseed cake. I regularly buy their bread, organic yogurt and Marco polo cookies. A good selection of European chocolate bars to tempt me.

It's the summer time so this review is primarily for the sausage vendor in front of the deli. This is such an excellent Street meat spot! The Polish sausage is incredible and quite different for other usual vendors. The bread is fantastic to boot! Toppings are traditions with sauerkraut, pickled hot peppers, ... onions etc. I had this a few weeks ago but I'm salivating thinking about the sausage. I visit Chicago Bakery 5 to 6 times each wk. Some fresh buns, the Poppy Seed Danish which "Margaret' always ensures to set aside for me. In fact when only get the same five or six items for the most part. It's almost always ready for me. Ive become close with ... the staff and without question will not be a valued customer except Chicago Bakery. Read more

What can you say but old school deli in my old hood is the best. Excellent prices on cold cuts and the danish and apple turnovers are very good and cheap. Ladies always give good friendly service.👍👍👍

Really large selection of freshly-baked breads and European produce. Wide range of imported goods too that probably quite popular in Eastern Europe. I ordered a couple of fried croquettes (possibly Polish Krokiety) - meat & cabbage with mushroom. The lady at the counter very kindly warmed them up for me and ... although mildly seasoned, were quite tasty for a snack. Read more
