Cute little bakery corner to the left side of Galleria when you enter the store. I ordered the Strawberry matcha latte - the strawberry sauce at the bottom of the cup was delicious, but it could have used more matcha sauce. All in all, very refreshing.

We had two deliveries from them a few months ago and lately we went to their store for a takeaway. We got tiramisu cake once and blueberry cake once. I ordered a taro bear cake in advance for a 100 day celebration. I originally went to the Yonge/Eg location for pickup. When I went inside the Galleria & asked for directions to the bakery, the employee at the front pointed me to the baked goods aisle in the small ... grocery store. I asked where the cake pickup was but was met with some confusion. I thought at that moment, I mistakenly went to the wrong location. I immediately went to the second location York Mills/Don Mills thinking it would be there. It wasn't. Thankfully, Minju saved the day and helped me out last minute by securing me a cake in the display case. I know for next time to triple check my order location details & to order to the closest Bakery Gateau location (instead of driving downtown). Despite the pickup mishap, this cake was a hit & the perfect way to end the night. I love that the website shows the ingredients: all clean and very simple ingredients. My family liked that it wasn't too sweet. Additionally, we loved that they used real taro. My family is difficult to please when it comes to cakes & this did not disappoint. I ordered a cake through UberEats and it arrived in perfect condition. The cake was adorable and the best tasting cake I've had this year. It was strawberry and chocolate flavored. The only downside was that it was so cute that I felt guilty about cutting it up!

Glad they still had a few sweet potato cakes available when I stopped by on new year's eve. The bear design is awfully cute. The cake has good balance of flavors. It's not gonna has full flavor like cheesecakes or chocolate cakes of course. They got the sweetness of cream ... layers perfectly. The cake layers are dense and bouncy. I also love how they leave some sweet potato chunks in it. Everything just about right. It's not gonna make you WOW. But it's a cake that has healing effects and can give you comforts in any day.
