With the disappearance of the Open Window bakeries, this is the place to go for a twister bagel, heavily poppy-seeded. Grab a sandwich at lunch and take home 2 dozen.. lots of varieties to love!

Edit: realized I put it for the wrong bagel place, I accidentally walked into bagel house. Bagel world is great; the fact the owner even responded to my erroneous review shows they care. Make sure you walk into the correct place and not make the same mistake I did.

Loved my breakfast. The food and service were fantastic and I ended up buying bagels to bring home. Only complaint was the coffee. Didn’t enjoy it at all - burnt and bitter aftertaste. I’d definitely come back but would avoid the coffee.

Have been coming here almost weekly for the last 3 years. Easily the best bagels in the city - and their sit down service and food is a heart warming experience. The entire team behind this operation does a great job each and everyday!

Everytime i come down from Ottawa i make sure to visit here as the food is great. I haven't been down here since before Covid. Everything still great as usual. Question though, the server wasn't sure but i remember the smoked salmon being different ? Used to be a ... bit thicker and had a great taste. The lox and cream cheese bagel was my favorite . Maybe new supplier? Regardless the food was great and I will make sure i return back next time i am in town. Read more
