This has to be the best sushi place I've ever had in TO. Salmon sashimi portions are sliced thick. Quality of food was just as great as the service provided by all the staff. Water glasd was never empty. Pleasant and friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back!

Wow! The quantities on the a la carte menu are massive. The all you can eat impressive (couldn't believe how thick the sashimi was sliced for an ACE!!) We had to be seated at 2 separate tables as 2 of us were having a la carte and 2 ACE, ... but we were easily accommodated. Great value for your $$. Portion size is huge. Lots to choose from the menu besides sushi, there's dim sum, udon, rice bowls etc. Atmosphere -it's a nice sit down restaurant with dim lighting but it can get pretty busy and loud. We definitely enjoyed our meal at August 8. The food was aesthetically pleasing, tasty, and properly prepared. I rated the service only 4 out of 5 stars because our table was often overlooked, and we didn't receive all of our first order until we had asked three different servers (20 minutes ... after the first part of our order was delivered to the table) if it had been forgotten. They also only give you 90 minutes to eat lunch, 90 minutes goes very quickly, especially because they control the time in which they bring out your meals. Therefore you're not getting quite the value of your money, and feel as though you have to dine quickly. The restaurant is very clean, as are the washrooms (in my experience, this is usually Telltale sign whether or not the kitchen would be clean!) There are tons of food options, and from what I saw on our plates, as well as other tables the food comes out fresh. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Ps, don't let your eyes be too big for your belly. If you don't finish the food on your plate, they will charge you extra for it.
