It was my first time to visit this place. I loved the ambiance and interior because it felt warm and homey! I had the bone marrow pho since it was my first time seeing that, and oh it was delicious! I also had their chicken but I really couldn’t taste ... any flavour on it even if I dipped it onto the sauce. I was really disappointed with that. Also, the service was slow even if it was just 3 of us in the restaurant, so that was kind of weird of a wait. The staff was nice though! Would definitely come back if I need that bone marrow soup fix 🤤 Read more
I'm kinda surprise by the overall rating of this restaurant. i visited the place on a cold Friday night. I found the service could be better as they try to rush you to order right away. The pho broth was unreal as adding the bone marrow to the mix ... adds a lot depth to it. The chicken wings was good, but needing more of that maple syrup sauce at the end. Read more
Broth was tasty. I really wish they offered rare beef though. That's what you is all about. Meat looked sort of sad and gray. And didn't come with any fresh herbs to add to the dish, and when I asked I just got a plate of bean sprouts. Which was ... also disappointing as it cost extra even though I didn't get what I wanted. Fried spring rolls were decent. Fresh ones were under seasoned and lacked that punch of flavour in the spring roll itself and the dipping sauce. Vietnamese coffee was very tasty though. Read more
Not bad pho - but not "great" pho either. Pho Vistro is a nice little business locate on Queen West - very inviting as you walk in. They have a wall of photos of customers who have all finished their bowls (I'm unsure of how to get onto the wall ... yet - I finished my bowl too!). The decor inside is nice - different than your typical Vietnamese restaurant. Has a modern/rustic vibe contrasted by the white kitchen in the back. Now i usually don't complain. but the lunch time service was quite slow. I understand that there were other customers (Around 5 maybe?) in the store, but it took 20-25 minutes to get my food. Good thing I came with some company - if I was alone I would have needed a colouring book to fill my time. Okay - Onto the food! I started off with the chicken fresh roll appetizers. The chicken slice was cut so thin it blended in with the rice paper roll. I thought I was eating a veggie only fresh roll. They give you a very minuscule amount of peanut sauce too. Which saddened me because I love myself lots of peanut sauce. I love pho. I don't believe that there is a bad pho out there. This one wasn't a bad pho. Take that however you want. One thing you can tell from this place though is that the pho is healthy. It's more light tasting - it doesn't kick you in the face with flavour, it's a whisper. A whisper that doesn't make you jump and say "wow" or go "bleh" either. If we're being honest here - I prefer my pho to kick me in the face. Now that was just the broth - arguably the most important part but there are other parts too. This place is very light on the extras that come with pho in general. The beef was okay, I rather did enjoy the little bits of fat on them though. You can tell this place is very healthy with every bite(slurp?). As you can tell I'm not overly impressed by this pho spot - but I'm not disappointed either. Read more

Unbelievably high end Pho, vegan options I eat a lot of Pho and this is NOT normal, this is high end Pho! Look at this bone marrow! It was delicious and decedent and the broth was deep in flavour and complexity. I’ve walked by here hundreds of times and thought, it’s just Pho. This ... place has organic vegan broth and organic vegan options. On a cold winter night this place was just perfect. Read more
