Don’t be fooled by my horrid photos taken tonight or even by how the food is plated. This restaurant is fun, eclectic and a great spot for a date night. Food is meant to be shareable which I found made it perfect for two. From what I gather, the restaurant ... changes the menu frequently to keep things fun and fresh. Fun and quirky. The staff are friendly and attentive (is it a requirement that they all look like they would own fixed gear bikes / listen to vinyls?) and the food was tasty. There were four of us and we ordered the entire menu, which was just the right amount. Great spot for a date night! Vibes inside are darker and more intimate. Dishes are paced out so depending on how many you order you may be there for the better part of the evening. Food is innovative here. You can see and taste the creativity of each of the dishes. ... For my taste the hot dishes were slightly on the over salted. Lake Inez is the bomb! Delicious sharing dishes. Great atmosphere. Really cool design. Loved the overall acoustics. The tuna and the swordfish were my favourites along with the Wagyu Tartar. The cocktail list is creative and delicious. I loved the margarita. I’ll be back to Lake Inez as soon as possible!

I love this place! As soon as you find the front door, everything is awesome! The food was delicious - these chefs know what they’re doing. The food was unique and very flavourful. Interesting wine/drink list. The front door, BTW, is on the left side of the unassuming ... window with the piano in it (almost directly across the red door of Glen Rhodes United Church). Read more
