Had a very poor experience at this sushi place. Not only did i not get a re-fill of my green tea, I was not given any wasabi with my sushi. To make my experience any worse, I had hair inside my deep fried sushi, which was deep fried as well. ... But instead of offering me a resolution I was charged a 10% service fee!! Well I live 10 minutes drive from the restaurant. Was waiting for delivery 1.5 hours!!!! Ordered salmon avocado roll, and seewed salad, chicken fried rice. These guys have never heard about food safety handling, my rolls and seaweed that were supposed to be cold, were almost hot! Avocado was all ... brown, ginger and wasabi were put together with my sushi, and the amount was ridiculous! When I called the restaurant to ask how long does it usually take for delivery (I was very polite, even though I've been waiting for my food like forever), the woman told me that she'll check with the driver and call me back. A few minutes later i recieve a call from a pissed man, who is screaming at me "There is traffic on Bathurst, you don't know that????" Awful service! I went there with my friends, so basically we're 2 adults, 4 teenagers and 2 kids. Of course we will going to order a lot of food. The waiting time will be 10-15 mins for us to get atleast 2 orders of sushi (which we'll just gonna eat ... for like 10 seconds). We stayed there for more than an hour just because of the waiting time and the kids are not full yet. And you have to ask twice to refill your cup with tea/water. And when we decided to order our last sushi which is maki roll and dynamite roll we waited for 20 mins and when i approached the server he said only the maki roll and when he serve the roll he said again that's the last order and we're not allowed to order again. Say what??? Excuse me! Your resto is "All you Can Eat" and we still want to eat. They also include 10% service fee on the bill to make sure they get something coz they don't deserve a tip! Waited 1.5 hours and the food was disgusting. Will never order again. should be removed from just eat. I've eaten a lot of Asian food in my time. This was by far the worst. Salmon sashimi was warm, pad tai was gross. Seems like they used ketchup.

I've ordered from Takimi many times. Last Saturday night I ordered for delivery. I had ordered a few appetizers and a sushi tray. The appetizers were fine. All of the fish on the sushi tray (including the ground spicey items) were not fresh. We called ... the restaurant to complain, and were told that the chef had left for the night, and would call us the following day. I had offered to text them a picture of the tray, which they had said they wanted. Sunday came and went. Monday I got a text saying that they would give me a $10 discount on my next order. Considering the sushi tray cost $34, and I had to scramble for something else to feed my guest at 10 pm, I think that Takimi is a joke. I will never order from there again. Read more
