In doing this review, I've already ordered twice from Sushi Gen ... via delivery and both experiences have been very positive, 5 stars all around. Here is a quick summary/overview of the food. Images show: - Chicken teriyaki dinner - generous helping of teriyaki chicken with rice, salad and miso soup. What I find makes Sushi Gen's teriyaki chicken a bit more elevated and tasty (especially from a food delivery perspective) is that the chicken is grilled with the skin. This adds flavour and depth to the chicken that I don't often get at other Japanese restaurants. The teriyaki sauce comes separately packaged so the chicken stays crispier and holds its texture better for the car ride to your place. Underneath the chicken, you also have a generous helping of mixed vegetables (bean sprouts and broccoli) which also helps to balance out the meal. - Dynamite rolls - these dynamite rolls are what you expect to get! Delicious but I particularly appreciate that there isn't too much rice in these rolls so you can really enjoy the filling! I could eat a million of these dynamite rolls. Sushi Gen is a great place for some great Japanese food. This is one place I'll definitely continue to visit in person and via delivery! Read more

One of the best Sushi places in town, the food quality is way better than any ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT place, the price is reasonable, and the portion is huge. GOLD BOX set with huge selections, the Sashimi piece cut is THICK, and the port cutlet don is delicious. Even the Miso soup and ... house salad are both GREAT. Updated: went again and ordered a different combo and their Shrimp shrimp tempura for $8.99 (5pcs) is insane. Well worth every penny! Read more

Accidentally found this place while walking around downtown. Absolutely good quality with affordable prices. I couldn’t believe the terayaki squid with only $12, hot sake with only $5, and the sushi combo with $22. Love the decor here
