If you want to try traditional okonomiyaki, this is the place for you. I had pork one and the flavor was decent. Especially because I’m Japanese, I didn’t think it was really tasty. However, the money I was paying for it was cheap. The potion was good enough. I also had ... seafood teriyaki. It wasn’t seasoned enough. It also didn’t have a lot of seafood in it and what I was getting was mostly sprouts. It wasn’t worth the price. I went there just because of my curiosity but I don’t think I’m coming back for any of the food. Read more
Food was decent. If you consider the price, it is actually pretty good ($40 incl tip & tax for 2 ppl is hard to find these days). Service was not there. Servers take your order, they bring your food and they accept your payment - this is pretty much it. ... They never ask how the food is, they never refill your water, they just don't care. They are not rude though. Does the food taste authentic? Yes. Is it better or on par with the one you can get in Japan? No. Would I come back? No. Read more
After many years of having it saved to my ‘to eat’ bucket list, I came here for my birthday to come try out this special little restaurant. I was not disappointed. Let us begin with the Food. Which was so delicious and made fresh to order. Everything was served super quick ... and I got the ‘Seafood Deluxe’ Okonomiyaki, which was so so amazing and if you love seafood this is a must. The side dishes were all amazing too! The Service was friendly and super efficient/quick despite it being very busy! 10/10 for that! And well yes, sometimes there is a line at times, but I don’t blame there for being one! It’s just that good- I wouldn’t mind waiting in line again! And it moved very quickly too! All dishes are super reasonably priced as well for what you get and the overall taste/quality, so I highly recommend trying this place out for yourself! 🥞🐙🥢 Read more
This is the best okonomiyaki that I have ever had in my life, hands-down, the service and the atmosphere of this place is like nothing else you can find in the city of Toronto. When I first got there, there was a 30 minute wait to get into the place ... as there are only limited amount of seating. But for a small place that serves the quality of food and the price you’re getting it at with all the ambiance. I definitely would say it’s an experience you should have. And the food itself is very authentic and made quick. I would also recommend getting the plum wine it’s amazing. Overall, I will definitely be coming back to this place and you should too. Read more
Small family run restaurant serving Japanese food. Chicken Teriyaki rice plate was roughly $16. Very tasty and pleasantly, it had enough sauce to coat everything. Also loved the generous amount of bean sprouts. Simple and plain. Loved that it tasted like a home cooked meal. Sometimes, you need that instead of a ... fancy one. Service was good despite the fact that it was busy with at least one party waiting for an open table the entire time we were there. Read more
