Great food! I got 3 different bao (pulled pork, braised beef, and tofu) and I think the tofu one was my favorite, surprising flavors and great taste! The young woman who was working that day definitely helped me pick the best ones and was super friendly. Went to a bao place for the first time, and it was better than I expected. I got a pork belly bao and veggie dumplings, both were really good. My friend and I were visiting Toronto and came across this cozy place. The two staff were so genuinely friendly when asking about our visit, helping us choose from the wide variety of menu options, and caring that spice levels were OK for us. What stood out most is that ... before we even ordered, one staff offered to fill the reusable cup I happened to be carrying with water!! Friendly service, delicious food, and decent prices. It was my first visit, and I hadn't visited any other branch before. We ordered three bao buns (pork belly, chicken, and braised beef), three treasures rice bowl, and siu mai. The food was very delicious!! My friend and I liked their pork belly, which ... is not too greasy, and the meat texture was perfect. The three treasures rice bowl was excellent, with three types of meat (pork belly, chicken, and braised beef) covered in delicious purple rice, some vegetables (edamame and bok choi) and an onsen egg (so tasty!) I shared the siu mai with my friend. I had two (a total of four), one with a whole shrimp inside and the other without it (for some reason). But overall, it is delicious! After finishing the food, my friend and I were delighted; the food was so good, the servers were kind and friendly, and the prices were decent. Absolutely delicious - the braised beef was fantastic as was the pulled pork with apple. There was a delicious spicyness to the ingredients which really bring the whole dish together. Just a tiny little hole in the wall but worth checking out!
