I've been eating here for over 20 years, and I never once got sick nor did I ever see a roach. This is a simple all you can eat establishment with an extremely reasonable price and this place is probably one of the best customer services I ever received. In ... the 20 years + that I've eaten here they welcome me every single time like family - they are sincere too. I've never had a conflict with any of them - they really are very nice people. Ok, if you go before closing don't expect every tray filled or fresh... Not even Mandarin offers that and they are 3-4 times more expensive. But Lily Gardens offers to make two or three trays of your favourites. Again not once did I ever get sick nor ever saw any coach-roach or any rodent in my food or anywhere in this establishment. I've eaten here at least over 150 times in the last 20+ years - I am a regular customer ... At least once a month I visit and I come alone or with friends, who in turn also continue to come here on their own. I give them a 5 star rating as that is what they deserve. Enjoy! Read more
Awful. Just plain awful. Went there and the small all you can eat spread felt like it was sitting there for a couple of hours. Everything was crispy form sitting around for so long under hot lights. Including the "freshly steamed vegetables".
Do not eat here ever. Better food and atmosphere to be found in mandarin dumpster. Looks like it has never been cleaned. No issues with the staff as they were trying to be friendly but the food was just so bad and cold that we paid our bill and got ... pizza without finishing Read more
RUDE & RACIST. The cook and the owner are sisters. The owner kept pressuring me to hurry my meal. Her sister has a major attitude problem; kept giving me dirty looks, and cursing in Cantonese. The owner said, in an rude tone: "You full?....You pay bill now!." The server (Chinese guy with a mustache, who is ... the only one there who is nice) kept apologizing to me for their behavior. But I finally complained about the rude and disrespectful treatment and accused them of being unprofessional, which they are. One gentleman sitting across from me, who was listening the whole time, said It appears they singled me out because of my size. I said that's bizarre, given that 10 minutes earlier there was a guy there (amongst a group of construction workers) who must have been 350 lbs. I'm a big guy, but I'm not that big. The gentlemen was himself so offended by the treatment I received that he got up, left his full plate and walked out. Meanwhile I could hear the two sisters talking behind me in Cantonese. My girlfriend is from Hong Kong, I could understand some of what they were saying: "Diuu....Pak Guy....Tai...Gwai lo" etc, etc.... Translation: "F*[email protected] in the street....Big....White Devil." I didn't eat any more than the other customers. But of course that shouldn't matter anyway... If they do not like people over-eating at their "ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET", they shouldn't have one. Nor did I cause any problems or commotion. I just went there as a paying customer to have a meal in peace. In my hurry to get out of there, I later realized that, on top of the horrible treatment, they over-charged me. You tell me, Do these people deserve to stay in business? If you have any sense of self-respect or justice you would not give these racists your business. I am reposting this message on other review sites to warn others. Read more
Staff was very friendly but OMG! It needs a facelift. Just some paint. Maybe paint one chair a day. In about a month all the chairs would be finished. Food was ok, had better ofcourse, but I have had worse. In the corner by the window there is black or ... something growing on the trim. Paint it,fix it up for crying out loud. Would I return. Maybe....... Read more
