King Chef - Toronto, Ontario

The worst General Tso chicken I've ever had. Coated in a super salty black sauce (reduced soy sauce?). Pretty nasty. This was late at night, perhaps the day chef is better?

This is my favourite Chinese restaurant I've ever been to! The food is great and so is the owner and everyone else who works there. Messy place, with very unreasonable prices for low quality food. It's a buffet style dinner but expect to pay different price if the owner prepares food for you or if you select and make your own plate.

A hidden gem in our neighbourhood. Feels like a mom and pop kitchen and food tastes absolutely delicious! The Shanghai noodles are divine, the black bean chicken as well. Great neighbourhood place to get take out Chinese food. The owners are very friendly and sociable. Try the general tao chicken and their fried rice. The owner has mentioned that their specialty is their dumplings as they are from northern China and are hand made within love. I ... will definitely try them the next time we order. Read more
