I spent $120 on sushi for 4 people and it was so bad. I’m talking really bad. I paid a premium price for something that was thrown together. I ordered Chirashi and it was low quality sashimi with a pile of rice on the side. See picture. Always so fresh and delicious. They also easily accommodate me when I can’t remember a specific name but just tell them the ingredients of the kind of roll I want.

Our favourite place for Japanese food in a small, cozy spot in The Beaches Neighbourhood. The service was very polite and friendly, and the meals were wonderful. Portions were very satisfying! The owners were so accommodating with respect to our allergies.

Delicious! Very small but very well kept little spot. Our server was friendly and attentive. REALLY appreciated that they were accommodating about not serving cucumber in their rolls! Wonderful aesthetic, and very friendly staff. The menu was broad and plentiful, with a plethora of veggie options. I ordered a small veggie tempura appetizer and the "garden dragon" maki roll. Turned out that meant a bowl of miso soup as well, and chilled orange slices for desert. The tempura ... plate was surprisingly plentiful, and nearly filled me up. The garden dragon roll was plentiful as well, and absolutely delightful. For $20 including tax and a meal that could have easily fed two, I will certainly be returning. Read more
