All you can eat features fresh fish and steady service. I try various types of rolls and always go back to the salmon maki, dynamite roll, and rainbow roll. Tempura is crisp and the temperature is served hot. One day I will try the torched options. Lunch menu doesn’t have ... sashimi, but it’s pretty filling without noodles or soups. In a pinch, I return to this lunch menu and I usually am quite satisfied without adding fried rice or noodles. If you are looking to sample the range of items available, I suggest miso soup, fried tofu and edamame. It is a good idea to order small quantities or to sample a variety of items. Firstly, the service and food quality heavily differs with the former reducing the star rating to zero and latter giving it two stars. ~The service and experience~ I went to Fushimi on 2:30 on a Monday and it was relatively empty with just a couple other tables. You’d think ... the service would be good as the staff have time to greet you. However, we weren’t acknowledged when we walked in but were merely led to one of the many empty tables. Not a good impression as we didn’t even get a “hello.”We had Bing as our server. Halfway through our lunch, the staff started snaking the sink (starting at 3pm) which not only was loud and disruptive to the atmosphere and mood but also smelled like manure and faintly like week old unrefrigerated fish. The olfactory is a large part of eating so it was definitely unappetizing and off-putting. Could they not have done it any other time? I tried to ask if they could stop after fifteen or twenty minutes had passed but it was extremely difficult to get Bing’s attention or know where he is. I didn’t realize how long it would take. They run out of cares at 3:15 pm with the food not coming out and when it does come, it’s cold when it’s supposed to be warm (i.e. for the teriyaki and edamame). The lunch service stops at 3:30pm which wasn’t communicated to us thus abruptly stopping our lunch with literally no warning. We didn’t get the food we ordered past 3:10-3:15 so only had half an hour or so to eat. ~The food and drink~ They don’t give ginger with the wasabi signifying it’s not that authentic a restaurant. They put jugs of water on your table for refills however that’s all you’re going to get as they don’t give you more water or another jug (or even notice you’re out). The food selection and quality is good for the price ($25 for weekday AYCE lunch). It wasn’t even AYCE though because we couldn’t order past 3:15 and only got a third of the normal searing time of an AYCE restaurant. Large disappointment. If you’re going to support this restaurant, get your food to-go or expect subpar “service”. I’d also recommend going to any other sushi place nearby as you’re bound to have a better experience. Come here alone for my cheat meal. A little nice space for me to enjoy it. Lunch menu has less items but is enough for one person. Really recommend the fried squid, sweet potato tempura, chicken skewer and out of control roll. The waitress is a nice lady. It takes a ... bit time for the food to be served but is not too long. The restaurant was just ok; the menu was a bit poorer than other sushi place, even lunch AYCE. I believe it was better before as I was here a few years ago. However, the restaurant was still clean, food was fast served!

Had AYCE sushi with 2 friends back in 2018. Some of the dishes didn't look like their images and the quality was definitely not that great. It didn't help that my one friend ordered basically every single ice cream flavour and it was a rough time trying to finish that ... up for her. Read more
