Had a craving for Chinese food, and this place satisfied that craving. Called ahead and ordered the dinner for 2 and a side of chicken wings. I was told 25 mins, and by the time I got there, it was ready waiting for me. The wings were that taste I ... remembered as a child. The food was tasty and indeed piping hot, and the portion size was large enough that we will get 2 meals out of it. Bang for buck, you can't go wrong with ordering from China Food. Highly recommended if you want Chinese food at a great price. Read more
It’s a hidden gem, from outside it may not look fancy or modern but the food and service is certainly incredible. I called 20 minutes before closing and they still accepted my pick up order. The food that followed was an incredible Singapore style noodle dish! And the price, also ... unbeatable in an economy where you don’t see a place like this anymore; and portion size was also a 10/10. This place is the epitome of amazing hole in the wall. Will certainly be a returning customer for years to come! Thank you so much! Read more
A good classic Chinese food spot. We got a healthy meal consisting of Tofu in Oyster sauce, Vegetable Chop Suey, Egg Drop Soup, Mixed Vegetables and Spring Rolls. Not greasy at all, super hot and fresh. I'll be returning for sure.
Brief description on the table setting... We'll start with the glass of beer, which is not included in the menu, However at 1 o'clock fried chicken wings, chicken balls, egg drop soup (my fav), various condiments such as sweet plum sauce, I believe an egg Foo yung, shrimp with ... beansprouts, beef and veggies in centre of table, ubiquitous Cantonese chow mein, hot n sour soup... and lest we forget, everyone's beloved fortune cookies so we may know what's to come in our lives... All in all a very good meal in my humble opinion. Food quality was as to be expected not too much on the greasy side fresh when you want it and where you want it crispy where you would expect it to be And quite frankly the price wasn't too bad. On the service, when we came to pick up as you can see by the expression on yours trulys handsome mug I was quite excited at the fortune to be had... Being dinner and yes, the fam enjoyed thoroughly👍👍👍 Triple thumbs up is our way of saying it's highly recommended that you give this place a shot cuz we'll be back there again. Read more

I have only ordered takeout from China Food, so I am not sure about the in-house dining experience. But the food is delicious, the portions are generous, and you can't beat the prices. I am also happy to support a local business that is a long-time member of the community. ... This type of local family business is on the endangered list in Toronto, and I plan to enjoy their food for as long as I can. Read more
