I wanted to leave a positive review here for a couple of reasons. 1. these lovely humans do not deserve a good portion of the negative reviews that are being posted. Chances are if the owners seem to be rude - it's more then likely a language barrier. I found ... them to be extremely pleasant and willing to communicate, but it also took some understanding on my behalf, Kindness is key. :) 2. Food was great - as you would expect from a Chinese takeout place that is in Canada! 3. Portion sizes were as expected - great for both my husband and I. It’s very oily and watery, lots of liquids and small portions, I won’t buy from them again.

When the food is made right, it's good. I've lived in this neighbourhood for over 10 years now and have been to this place numerous times. Unfortunately though today was enough to finally set me off, and I need to reflect why in this review. The easiest thing first. If you ... want a good atmosphere or good service, this isn't the place to go. It's mostly for takeout, as the seating inside the restaurant is limited, and it's not much of a looker when it comes to decor. The service is nice, depending on who you talk to. Out of the couple who seems to own the place, the lady is much nicer, and even sometimes conversational. The man unfortunately is very short and sometimes just borderline rude. As for the food, when it's made right, it's passable and decent. It is NOT real Chinese food. It is Canadian-Chinese fast food, and that's reflected in the prices, which are about average. Unfortunately it seems like any deviation from the standard menu items is extremely difficult for them, as numerous times I have ordered things with specific items removed, only to find those items present in the food. For example, the hot and sour soup, which I asked to have shrimp removed. There was shrimp in the soup. For me it's a matter of taste. But for someone else who has a life threatening allergy, this could be a hospital visit for them, and a lawsuit for the business. As a result, I don't think I will be eating here anymore. And I wouldn't recommend anyone else to either. Read more

I can understand why this place is rated so poorly… We ordered the beef rice noodle dish and it was quite oily and didn’t come with much meat - about 6 pieces to be exact. You’re paying for a box full of carbs! I’d pass on this place and go ... elsewhere! Yonge street food court by Yonge and finch is actually so much better if you don’t mind the drive. Good value and the food is tasty and good portions sizes with relative amount of protein. Read more

Good food, good price and pretty quick. Its not the kinda place most people sit down to eat at but it is good for delivery and take away
