Big Sushi was great. Went during lunch. For the price can't really ask for more. Food was very fresh and tasty, tempura was crisp. The torched salmon sushi and softshell crab roll were especially delicious. The interior was renovated, clean washrooms and lots of seating. Friendly service.

Stopped in for a quick bite after school pick up. Really enjoyed the Torched Rolls. We had the Fire Dragon Roll A, a huge and really tasty serving. Particularly enjoyed the dried onions on top. So much selection and all rolls and sushi are fresh and well made. Fried chicken selection is also pretty vast and the few flavours I have tried were delicious. Service isn't the greatest, but they make for that in tasty food for decent prices.

Price are not that much cheaper than competitors in the area. You walk along the street and you notice that in a block you could see anywhere near 10 sushi places. What makes this place stand out? Nothing. The prices are about what you would expect from the place next ... door. Food quality was about the same, with the salad dressing being the only really striking difference. Overall most of the restaurant on that block run because people choose it due to sentiment. Food was okay, however unfortunately I have another sushi place on the road I enjoy more. Read more
