Was here for a soccer game. The good parts: big enough tv screens, good beer, decent food, and tables setup too close-just the way you would want it in a sports bar. The okay part: Its a bit pricey, and yes, prices are up for most places but the portion size could ... be bigger. The bad part: the service, and it is really bad. We were greeted and given a table and that was it. After waiting a while (>30 mins) we asked twice for someone to take our order, had to then check to see if they actually took it, everything took time and then we had to ask and check repeatedly (for water, condiments etc). The place wasn't understaffed, but I don't know what servers were doing moving around briskly when really none of the guests were getting any food 😂. My team won the game so I guess that's good luck so hopefully will come back again to a better service. Read more

Fantastic little pub with an authentic feel. The staff make you feel right at home. Every once in awhile they bring out samples of different food items from their menu...everything has been so tasty. Fish tacos, hamburger, fries.. are my go-to. If you like beer, their own Duke beer is ... fantastic. They also have at least 4 different non-alcoholic beers including Guinness 0 which is like 98% similar to regular Guinness. Cheers Read more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this bar, and it left a lasting impression on me. The staff was not only professional but also incredibly kind, making my visit all the more enjoyable. Their attention to customer service was evident from the moment I walked in. What truly stood out, ... though, was the food. I had the fish and chips, and I can confidently say that it was the best I've ever had in Canada. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the batter was perfectly crispy. Each bite was a delightful burst of flavor, and the portion was generous. The side dishes complemented the main course perfectly. The cozy atmosphere and friendly ambiance of the bar added to the overall positive experience. It's the kind of place where you feel at home and well taken care of. Good atmosphere and service was standard. My partner and I got the chicken curry and the chicken pot pie. They were $20 each, and we also got 2 drinks (Woo-woos) bringing the total amount to $62 before tax and tip. I personally thought the pie was okay, it wasn't creamy enough ... for my tastes and had not enough sauce to hydrate my mashed potatoes and peas. The curry also didn't come with an entire piece of naan. The overall value of this place was better than some restaurants in the city but could be better. P.S. I also don't know what a normal price for beer is, but some Irish guys came in while we were here and laughed at the price list. Read more

Nice place. Good service. The food was cold when it arrived to the table. Very busy location and the street is dusty due to constant construction. great spot to watch sports at the bar as they have TVs. Rustic old atmosphere inside.
