A pleasant surprise we discovered in the neighborhood. The service and the food are excellent. My fave is definitely the Royal Z Burger as it's full of flavours that work very nicely together. The onion rings are nicely battered, and from what I recall, the gravy in the poutine is ... vegetarian which makes the flavour profile not too overpowering. This was my 1st time here and my sister is a regular. She raves about these burger and the poutine and this place did not disappoint! I am stuffed and happy with my decision. One of my favorite Burger spots in Toronto, technically York, ON is Zeal Burgers. My first experience with them goes back to 2016 and I am just now writing a review (🤷🏽♀️). The quality of their Angus beef lends well to seasoning which is why their burgers taste better than ... other places. Fresh toppings are always used and their offering of Titziki and specialty cheese takes customers experience over the top. In speaking with the owner, I was told Zeal only uses beef from certain Canadian farmers. This is a touch that I appreciate. Bae and I ordered a single Burger with fries and a soda. For fries, customers receive a generous portion. All fries are cut and cooked on the premises. Take a look at the photos and visit the store and let me know if you like. Service was great, the employees seemed very friendly and nice. It was a bit busy so the wait seemed longer than it should have been. Not sure if the buns usually aren't toasted or if it was too busy that they didn't toast the buns enough but the burger would ... have been a lot better had the buns been toasted.
