The portions are large and I’ve been here before this red has been here since 1958 which for any restaurant is amazing. Staff friendly and polite you have banks for seating food is great had peameal bacon as hadn’t had any in a while breakfast was really good throughly enjoyed. I go to this place for lunch and I really like it. Nice variety on the menu and the service is faster with friendly staff. Coffee cup is never empty. You feel like you are in a small town eating here, easy to forget you are in Toronto. I can't ... describe it well but you just feel good being here. On a side note it's really quirky. There are signs all around that claim factually unverifiable statements like - over 500 dozen eggs served daily and - winner of the golden cup award for best coffee (classic diner claim) or 4 billion oranges squeezed for juice since opening.
