Two Headed Dog - Toronto, Ontario

We were on holiday from Ireland. We spent a few nights in the Two Headed Dog as our air b&b was just around corner. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The food was delicious. We enjoyed our few nights there

From the reviews it appears that this place is a little hit or miss.. I am glad for me and my friend it was a hit. We came here on a whim when our planned restaurant was closed and it was the ideal spot to have a little Friday evening ... catch up over some very tasty food. I had the mac and cheese and added grilled chicken - a lot of places would just toss the chicken on top but they actually blended it into the mac and cheese so every bite was a perfect medley of flavour and deliciousness. We came to this bar/restaurant after a concert, so it was after 12am and I believe it was open until 2am. It was a sports night, so the guys at the bar were very rowdy and were yelling obscenities, but we got a spot near the window away from them ... and were served quickly. The server had pale pink hair and was super kind, I believe her name was Tatiana. She was very personable and sweet. We ordered our food. I got a BLT sandwich with peameal bacon and some fries. The sandwich was lackluster, but my boyfriend got an amazing spicy pasta dish that had chicken, shrimp and sausage. It was the highlight of the meal. But we also shared Thai spring rolls and they were great. I'm glad this spot was open so late. I did notice quite a bit of dust throughout the establishment, but overall, it was a good experience. My friend and I ordered some takeout pub food from here to have during a sleepover. Their food was delicious and very filling! We got their Garlic Bread, 3-Cheese Mac ‘n’ Cheese, Cheese Perogies, and their Chicken Tenders with fries. The mac ‘n’ cheese was creamy, rich and heavy, but absolutely ... phenomenal! I gladly had some leftover for the next day. The cheese perogies were also a highlight: piping hot, fluffy, and filling with delicious cheddar cheese, spices and herbs. They came with sour cream and green onions for dipping, as well as some extra bacon bits to top them all off. They offer the scrumptious pub faire, and their food was perfect for our night over. Your typical English pub. Stopped in on labour Day, the poor waitress was completely overwhelmed and not enough staff. The space was also very warm and could be a tad cleaner. Had the chicken ceaser wrap and it's perfect! Easy lunch
