My face still hurts from laughing. What a fabulous production. Every actor was brilliant. We enjoyed every minute, from ordering the tickets (easy online process) the gentleman who booked us in was delightful. Right up to the final applause - a magical evening.

Didn't have really high expectations for this but it turned out to be a lot of fun! If you like punny jokes, quirky characters, this event is for you!!! We get seated in a table in a large room at Chelsea Hotel with other attendees. And the actors came in ... and mingled with us before announcing the start of the show. We enjoyed the humor in which actors introduced themselves and interacted with each other. We showed up for 730pm and chose to skip the dinner due to bad Google reviews about the food and high pricing. The actual show didn't start until around 745pm. It wasn't a super serious murder plot, there was a lot of comedy that created a light atmosphere for all ages to enjoy. Some smart humor too here and there. I really liked how the actors interacted with the audience, even having some audience members say some lines and the actors improvised some jokes involving audience members or funny blunders. True professionals! I was proud to say I guessed the murderer correctly, with some debate or course, wouldn't say it was totally obvious. Wonderful show! We were looking for a murder mystery dinner and show and these guys delivered. They got the audience involved and made it interactive. Tons of laughs. If you like puns they will have loads lined up. Would go again! Thanks guys for a great evening.

Ahh I was so excited about this event and truly hoped it would be worth our time and money. We just did the show without the dinner option because the price of buffet was a horrendous extra $85 (approx.). We were placed in a huge conference room with like 50+ other ... people and some of the actors came around, speaking in character and dropping hints, before the show. I find it so hard to believe that in all of Toronto they could only make an all-white cast/crew - no representation of the audience. Nonetheless, race should not be the focus of this review. After signing later comers (non buffet attendees) of the audience in, the show abruptly started, with characters just randomly beginning their lines, no warning that you should take your seats, pay attention to everything being said, no dimming of lights, special effects etc. I was so confused! We thought the cast would be on a stage or something alike, rather they were dispersed at different areas of the room, making one have to "break their neck" just to have to see and hear some of the actors. We understand this may have been done due to the nature of the storyline/desire to have the audience more involved/spacing issues etc. But it just made the whole presentation so cheap. And again, as there was nothing done to the lights, special effects, decorations to build the scenery of the story, it was cheapened even more so. We were extremely underwhelmed and almost left halfway through but did not so as to see the mystery through and not waste our money (although it already was). Again, I had huge hopes for this event but was really disappointed. Not to mention, the prize given to *some* of those who guessed the murder & motive correctly was a magnifying glass. Talk about cheap! I wanted so badly to enjoy this event but I really didn't. I believe the acting was phenomenal, the jokes (although corny) were funny and the attempt to involve the audience was good. But for the price of the ticket, I'd rather watch a murder mystery movie in theaters. I hope they improve their production because this was beyond subpar. I wish I could get some of my money back. Hats off to the actors, they have to work with some cringe material. If you're into sitcom-style jokes, like saying completely irrelevant lines just to set up a dumb punchline, maybe you'll enjoy it. We were stuffed into a giant hotel conference room with the lingering smell of nasty banquet ... food. Like a low-budget wedding. This company must make a killing at $50-60 a ticket, only to put on what seemed like was just a polished high school play. Over-the-top characters and costumes, contrived dialogue where "clues" are dropped that we, the audience, are then asked to contemplate while getting watered down $10 drinks from hotel cart. This wasn't a brain-teaser - it was more like, were you paying attention to this garbage play? Honestly, we couldn't care less about who murdered who. This was no different from the high school whodunnit's we've had to sit through, for the love of family. Except last week we got fleeced under the bright lights of a stuffy conference room on a Saturday night. Oh, and the entire cast is white. Come ON! I hope the company pays their actors well. I can't imagine having to spew these yuk yuk lines in Value Village costumes in front of hundreds of people. Demoralizing. Read more
