some of the beat burgers ive ever had. ive tried most of the burgers here. patties are juicy and always well done.
We had ordered poutine from here & it was hot, fresh & delicious. It might not be in large quantity (as I've ordered from elsewhere) but still enough for one person.
I have been coming to Hero Certified Burger ( 100 Queen Street West ) on regular basis with my girlfriend. The food and service seem to be good every time. The manager/ owner seem to be nice and has been operating the establishment by himself most of the time ... lately. Today on Saturday May 30, 2020 I order my regular order, 2 Burgers and fries. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I finally received my order and sat down close by at the City Hall Benches to enjoy my meal. After checking my takeout bag for the salt that I requested, I had return to get salt. After seating down nearby again, my burgers were warm, the fries were COLD. I decided to only return the fries to Hero Burger Establishment, informing staff that I had just received my food and the fries were cold. The manager / owner insisted to me the fries were made fresh and that the reason the fries were cold was because I had the food in my possession for 10 minutes. He informed me it was my fault and he would not give me replacement. I had explain to him, I recently just got my food and there should be no reason to not have FRESH / HOT fries in my order. After eating my disgusting warm burger ( rotten lettuce included in pictures ) and went back to the establishment again to inform the manager / owner that I am not liar and gave him back his cold food. The manager / owner at this location knows I am regular customer, still insisted that it was my fault. I informed every customer in the establishment that the food I received was COLD and not to order food from here. Only at that time the manager / owner offered me a replacement for my fries after I made scene about his cold food. I told him no, because he denied me the first and second time I asked for replacement item. I am very disappointed in my experience with this location, and I will never return to this location to support the owner / manager again. Had to try after a visit to Canada due to the hype. The burgers were decent taste wise, though the price, portion and quality ratio did not seem to stack up. Plus seemed slower in terms of service from orders to making the gourmet burger category - could be this ... particular location. On the plus side it is Halal certified and within a great location; near the Toronto sign and photogenic scenery. Though it was freezing when we got there and raining, so it was a shame there were no seating areas or some sort of small cover near by. Read more
