This is one of those very few places that has kept the old Firkin red decors (I can’t recall if it was some kinda bird and firkin). Of course the decors is very dated as the firkins bar were upgraded about a decade ago. So much nostalgia visiting this bar ... and have all the good cheap beers options on tap. Read more
The pub has a very old decor, the food we find it a hit or miss. Pasta is great, the lamb was pretty good but the steak was overcooked we asked for medium rare and medium well. Excellent presentation of food and also the interior. Customer service is remarkable. A good choice for friends to hang out. They have game areas to spend time along with nice food.
It's one of the best restaurants I've ever been to.. I usually come out of a restaurant with some negative comments, but this place was amazing. The server is very friendly. The food is tasty, and portions are generous. Shout out to the chef. You're a gem. Our group ordered 5 ... plates: fish and chips,vegetarian pizza, curry chicken, buttered chicken, and liver plates. Went here for their Monday night wing night. The wings were ok, passable. Sauce was minimal and nothing worth remembering. The beer (3 different ones) were all on the wrong side of warm and the server was absent for very long stretches. Its saving grace is that the place ... itself is big, has a great feel to it as a pub. With some tweaks, like more attentive servers, proper cooling systems on kegs and a better wing sauce it could easily move up in ranking. Read more
