Walked by lunch time and gave it a tried. I only ordered garlic bread as a light lunch, it is very good. The service is good too.
The restaurant recently did some redecorating which I think lends charm. The ingredients are fresh and meals high quality. The only drawback is that there are no windows. Also, there was only one waiter serving which made for a delay to be seated and for food to be plated.
This is one of my favourite places to get lunch/dinner take out. The three staff at the counter are really friendly and offer impeccable service. I have tried most of the menu items and the risottos, pasta, steak, and sandwiches are all excellent at a reasonable price, especially considering the ... quality and location. I love the food here! I keep coming back because it’s so tasty and authentic! It’s my favourite lunch spot on bloor! I know homemade sauce when I taste it and this place has it. The bruschetta has plump tasty tomato, fresh garlic, olive oil and it s exactly as ... it was meant to taste. The Siciliana pasta is my favourite, and the lasagna is my second fav! Both delicious and tasty 😋 I top it off with a double espresso and I’m good for the the day. The portions are big enough that I always take some pasta home and it tastes just as food later on ! I was a regular dining in here almost every week before pandemic, then turned into a take out regular during the Covid spreading, totally forgotten how great it was to eat freshly cooked food in the restaurant, until I returned this evening. Not only the meal was still up to ... its high quality but also they’ve renovated a bit and made the dining room more stylish, love the french toile wallpaper decor and the soft lighting. Service was great as usual, all wonderful even when Eataly is located right upstairs, that did not effect a bit to depreciate an inch of their quality, just a great and must try little place in Manulife Read more
