Reviews for Quanto Basta in Toronto, Ontario
We had 4 amazing appetizers to share, and then shared the most disappointing ravioli dish especially for $46. We complained to the waiter and he explained they had just switched truffle suppliers… and apparently we were the victims of that poor choice on the restaurant’s part. No compensation was offered ... for the tasteless $46 entree. Giving it 4 stars still because the rest of the meal was divine. Was expecting to be blown away by main course and left disappointed. Great service, fit our walk in between reservations. Lovely ambience & lots of options. Food was all very good & was able to accommodate dietary restrictions. Split focaccia, octopus, shrimp, broccolini, spinach paccheri(I think), & crab agnolotti between 3 of us & were full. Had an Il Volo which was ... very nice. Would come back again. Read more
This restaurant is just top notch. A great local Rosedale eatery that is welcoming, cozy and delicious. I’ve eaten here many many times and it doesn’t disappoint. I usually go with the rack of lamb but this time I switched for the Il Salvatore (braised beef shank) pasta and loved it. ... Arancini balls as an appetizer are awesome - very crunchy and delicious. Steak frites here are also a staple and are highly recommended. Come any night of the weekend there is always a good atmosphere but I recommend a reservation, can be difficult to walk in and get a table. In the summer time they have tables out on Yonge street which is a solid addition. Read more
Great food. Great waiter. Service could have been faster but that depends on where you may be seated as we were closer to the restrooms stairwell. So watching customers walk back and forth while waitstaff tried to balance their walk without dropping cutlery was most of the scenery for ... us. Not everyone wants to sit outside on days it is 30+. Nonetheless a great place for foodies. Thank you Quanto Basta for the great dinner and cocktails! Read more
Great local spot. Good variety on menu and all of the several dishes that 4 of us shared were excellent. Service was amazing. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. Highly recommended. First time. Will return
