We've been here a few times, we went back after 5 years this time and they have renovated the restaurant which is nice. The service was excellent, although there was only one server, and she still made an attempt to check on us every now and then. She was very ... friendly and helpful! The food was OK and presentation is fine for the price we are paying. The steak was too rubbery and tough, it was difficult to chew. The Cajun fries & chicken wings were good. The price was cheap if you go for late night meals after 10pm. The best part is, the restaurant is 24 hours and we can find something to eat late night if we get hungry. Tried the eggs Benedict with spinach. Dish came out very quick. The server was attentive. The food was decent. The price was cheap. Will give it another shot.

We ordered the Working B Breakfast ($14.99) with chocolate chip (+$1.99) pancakes and the Jerk Shrimp Spaghetti ($19.99). We had asked for the jerk shrimp spaghetti to be subbed with penne instead and for it to be extra spicy. We were disappointed to see that we were charged and extra ... $2 for the extra spicy request (something our server hadn’t mentioned prior). We were especially disappointed since the pasta wasn’t even spicy and they just seemed to add chilli flakes to it. The pasta sauce was also on the sweeter side and pretty watery. We have no complaints for the breakfast orders as they were pretty standard. One of our friends ordered the steak and eggs and found the steak to be well done even though they asked for medium rare. The food was okay, I don't have much to say about this place. The lunch specials menu was very cheap so I may go back again to try this. I got a Spicy Jerk Shrimp pasta and it was very bland. I requested for extra spicy and received a +$2 ... charge on my bill, I wasn't notified prior that there was an upcharge for this request. I feel like this should have been informed prior as it definitely took me by surprise. The pasta was mid, I wouldn't order the pasta again. On the other hand, the service was great! Unfortunately, my friend ordered the steak and eggs, she requested for medium rare and ended up with well done, which was a disappointment. Overall, I may go again to try out their lunch specials as it was very cheap, I would not order the pasta again. Had the Steak for 14.99, amazing value. Included your choice of side, soup or salad, and dessert (mango pudding). Steak was better than I expected for 14.99, it was cooked just right. Cut of meat was cheap as it had some tendons and chewy portions but overall seasoned nicely. Soup was ... mushroom cream soup, very good actually.
