Super spacious seating and nice ambience. The best place for Taiwanese dishes like the classic popcorn chicken. I also love the variety of vegetarian options available. I used to love popcorn chicken but then I decided to become a vegetarian so I always get the king mushrooms to substitute my ... craving of popcorn chicken. My two favourite dishes I alternate between are the vegetarian curry and the king mushroom on spaghetti. 🤤🤤 I always recommend Charadise when my friends are debating food places. I used to get takeout from here during university and I loved that they always included a free apple 🍎 overall a great place for Taiwanese food. Update: May 2024 still nothing but great things to say about Charadise, great selection of Taiwanese dishes + vegetarian options. Service is superb. They accidentally mixed up my order but as soon as I pointed it out, our server Amy, went to check and were very apologetic and immediately went to get my correct order. 10/10 would recommend and always look forward to coming back! Apparently this place used to be popular, I don't know what happened. They don't accept credit cards, you have to order through an web app with outdated photos of all of the dishes, if they have photos at all. The portion sizes are different from what was displayed on the ... ordering app (looking at you popcorn chicken) and when we asked for a manager, they were very busy, we were the only patrons on a Thursday night, the restaurant was empty. Finally someone came but they didn't have the authority to alter the bill. If you thought about coming here I would recommend literally any other restaurant on Balwin, this place was a joke. A great go to spot for a quick meal. Honestly one of my favorite spots if I want to work or catch up with a group of friends. Food is decent and fast. Also, there’s lot of seating available. The quality of food and service was amazing! The selection of food was also great, with unique items like duck breast, curry udon, and some sushi available. The torched salmon hand roll was my favourite, we ordered those several times. They also had poke bowls and ramen eggs which were ... amazing. The servers were friendly and our food came almost instantly after we ordered. We finished our meal with Haagen dazs ice cream which was also great. Overall we would definitely recommend this place. This place has the most gorgeous view, relaxing vibe, and delicious food, make sure to check them out🙌🏻 We got a bunch of their dishes to try. Starting off with their Pineapple Chicken Fried Rice was fried perfectly, it had a TON of chicken and the Pineapple Chunks made it ... so good! Hawaiian Poke Bowl had Crab Meat, Salmon, a bed of Rice, it was so loaded, every bite was super satisfying and delicious! Teriyaki Salmon Spaghetti was so creamy, it had 3 pieces of crispy Salmon Fillet, simply delicious! Beef Noodle Soup had the most tender Beef, along with chewy Noodles and hearty Broth, loved it! Their Appetizers were AMAZING, Fish Cake, Taiwanese Sausage, Takoyaki, Popcorn Chicken were all very delicious, Yam Fries were well seasoned with Plum Powder and Calamari came in a huge portion!
