Naxos Grille & Bar - Thunder Bay, Ontario

Overall 3, presentation of the food is not bad, taste is good however, i rated it 3 for we waited for a long time which is more than 20 minutes for the amount of food that we order which on the other i would totally understand if they are busy, ... but we actually came there and its not, and then we will still consider it if after we wait is we would get the food at least warm .. unfortunately nit even warm . All of what we order was cold and can easily tell that it was prepared for a while before it got serve. And while we wait no one even assisted us at least to update us for waiting., just saying that service coulve been much better. 3 considering the taste and place that is actually clean. Read more

Fantastic! Greek owned and operated family restaurant, great vibes, terrific menu with many traditional tasty Greek dishes plus high quality options typically available at most bar and grill style restaurants (wings, breakfast, burgers etc). Definitely my favourite place to eat when I’m staying in Thunder Bay. Decided to have the ... wings this time; they were cooked perfectly, nice and juicy, well seasoned, and were just really good. Had some fun drinks from the bar, enjoyed some good company and had an overall excellent dining experience. Would recommend Naxos to anyone looking to eat out in Thunder Bay. Read more

Awesome salmon and gyro platter. The Greek salad was fresh and delicious! I also had some baklava for dessert. The food was great, the service was prompt and friendly. Thank you for making my trip to Thunder Bay such a success

First time here with my family and we had a great first impression. We were greeted by the owner (she was extremely friendly and personable). The restaurant is very clean and well staffed. We had the saganaki (brandy flambed cheese) and the naxos dips (humus and tzatziki). Absolutely fantastic! For mains ... we had a chicken Caesar pita, greek salad with chicken and a gyros platter. Everyone was very happy with their meals. The only complaint I have is that I didn’t have room for dessert. I did see several go to other tables. They looked delicious with generous portions. Naxos is an excellent breakfast spot that I haven’t gone to in a couple years. There was an coffee thermos incident. There was bread stuffed inside from a previous customer, and it wasn’t cleaned and given to me. Yeah, pretty sick right? I don’t like to hold grudges though. I ... also no longer get coffee. Nothing but clear jugs or glasses for me. Today they did redeem themselves with a pretty tasty bacon and egg melt. I didn’t have the Greek omelette, but my source tells me it is delicious. Just look at it in that picture. The prices are on point for the high quality of their food. If there was something I'd have them improve on my order is either use a smaller plate, or fill the plate up. There was quite a bit of real-estate around my Bacon and Egg Melt. Maybe a few more homefries would've done the trick. Read more
