Chicago Joes - Thunder Bay, Ontario

I wish I could post the pictures of my quesadilla s I received as I did on Facebook and a lot of people said I should post it on thunder bay dinning but I would prefer doing it here I felt ripped off as there was barely any filling in ... the tortilla so I basically was just eating the shell pretty bland when it empty we tried to tell the waitress but kept walking away as we where still trying to tell her then at the end I showed her and nothing was done about it...this is tge 2nd bad experience there which really disappoints me as I use to love going there. Unfortunately that will be my last visit there not wasting my money especially when I know I could do a way better job making them myself . Read more

I wish I could say it was better. The wings were the best part but most wings come from a freezer and get deep fried. I had the California salad, this was always my favorite but the chicken on it was horrible I took one of the same end pieces ... and couldn't eat the rest. Had my partner try it and he was grossed out (way too much salt and lemon seasoning). The lettuce was just saturated in dressing, it made the lettuce soggy almost like it was pre-made. The fruit on it was pretty mushy. The place needs an update for sure, water dripping in from the pool area, the seats are all ripped up. It was fairly empty but the service was not great. The service was slow, the waiter seemed nice just very shy, would not approach the table unless bringing the food and spoke softly so it was hard to hear him. Read more

We were tired, it was late, but the food was delicious and our waitress was very attentive. We were happy we had chosen Chicago Joe's. It's in a hotel, so maybe that's why when we asked at our hotel (a different one) where a good place to eat would be, ... he didn't mention it even though it was right down the street. Read more

Very delightful greetings. Didn't have to wait to long for order and the meal was exceptionally delicious. If you want to eat in a nice restaurant, Chicago Joe's is your please first great eats.
