McKellar Confectionary - Thunder Bay, Ontario

We grew up eating mckellar hotdogs so its nostalgic and they havent changed the recipe which is awesome because even though it's kind of out of the way (were in the country) it's worth the drive and having lunch in the booth with my family is totally worth it💙🤘

I love that McKellar has started the same. Same great burgers and dogs and shakes. Same great service. And same friendly and inviting atmosphere. It's a favorite lunch spot when I am out with my mother.

This is BY Far the best Coney in town. it has a spice/flavor to it that isn't over powerfully yelling onion. Also they seem to be using a 5 star bun that doesn't get hard after they cool down from the steaming. Fries are great hot. Highly recommended stop in. ... I had to try this burger when a local friend recommended the place and was pleasantly surprised! I had no idea what coney sauce was, and I don't think we have it anywhere back in Winnipeg, but it was delicious and also reasonably priced!
